For one night only, you’re invited to experience a breathtaking evening of music and dance with A Taste of Ireland at Chatswood’s Concourse Theatre.

Described as “Celtic for this decade” A Taste of Ireland is a showcase of some of Australia’s finest Celtic dancers, vocalists and musicians, in a performance that promises to enthral audiences. It’s coming to Chatswood this month.

The fact that this show has been performed nearly 200 times since 2021 globally is a testament to its enduring popularity and this leg of the tour will be one of the last opportunities to see the company perform before they set off on yet another international tour.

Ireland’s tumultuous and fascinating history is the theme of the performance, with the audience taken on a journey into the story of the Celtic motherland, as told through poetic narration, stunning Irish dancing, and folk music. The show has long beet touted as a perfect synergy between everything audiences have come to know and love of Irish dance performances, with the addition of some extras that give A Taste of Ireland it’s unique edge.

Not only are some of Australia’s finest Irish dancers and vocalists set to take the stage but the show is also produced and written by a star-studded and highly experienced team of Celtic performers.

Director and producer Brent Pace has Irish dancing in his blood. The son of one of Australia’s most prominent Irish dance teachers, he has trained around the world and has multiple national, and international accolades under his belt. He has also performed with the company since its inception and it is his underlying affinity with the genre and performance style that has aided in the show’s success.

He is supported creatively by Ceili Moore and multi-talented co-producer Jack Kearney

This mass of talent will be backed by stunning visuals, glamourous costumes, stunning production and lighting features, and a lively, energetic pace that will have you tapping your toes along in no time.

Audiences can expect to “laugh, cry and jig into the night” as the show blends well-known Irish tunes and melodic folk music with its distinctive combination of contemporary vocals and dance.

And it wouldn’t be a true night of celebrating all things Irish if it wasn’t also promising a whole lot of what the Irish refer to as “craic”, which roughly translates to an enjoyable time filled with fun and entertainment.

This is a night not to be missed, and, as a one-night-only event, it’s sure to sell out fast. Don’t leave it to the luck of the Irish, make sure you jump online and secure your tickets today.

A Taste of Ireland will run at the Concourse Theatre in Chatswood for one show only on Saturday the 24th of June.
