Willoughby Living has always been a huge advocate of supporting local small businesses believing they’re one of the reasons why the Lower North Shore is such a great place to live. Our members have indicated they love buying local too. We know it can be difficult or expensive for small businesses to get word out about what they have to offer to the community, so we’ve created the Willoughby Living Business Directory as a very cost-effective platform for businesses to showcase themselves and for members to quickly and easily find what they need nearby. Each Directory Listing comes with a complimentary full page advertisement for businesses to include images and to let the community know what they offer (see image example). Once listed advertisers can also post in the WL Facebook Group every month for our Business Night. This is a fantastic way to continually remind the community what you offer or for any news, specials, events. etc. We receive amazing feedback from advertisers on Business Night.
We also offer listings in our other website Directories, and their Facebook Groups all have Business Nights as well. One of Willoughby Living’s main aims is to share great local information to assist members to make the most out of living on the Lower North Shore – and this includes classes and activities. Our members are always on the lookout for a great new fitness class, or children’s dance class, or want to know which sports teams are nearby for example. The Willoughby Living Classes and Activities Directory is designed as the community’s central database for extra-curricular activities, or hobbies, or for parents to see what’s available and choose their children’s after-school activities each term. Each listing comes with a full page to advertise class days and times, or tell the community more about what you offer.
