Big Music Holiday Rock Camp, Crows Nest
If your child has ever dreamed of being in a rock band, or just really likes music – Big Music at Crows Nest is the place to be these school holidays. Big Music has been running their Holiday Rock Camp program with great success, and all the staff are qualified musicians who are passionate about encouraging a love of music in their students. There’s no experience necessary with a course to suit all levels. The emphasis of the camp programs is on fun and participation in playing and performing popular music with other kids.

Little Legends, Willoughby
Little Legends Sports is legendary in the local area. They have been keeping kids fit, healthy and happy since 2004 with a variety of fun multisports programs, as the parents tell us “it’s the best way to entertain active kids during the holidays”. The program aims to build a lasting love of exercise by creating an environment where children can have fun with friends, while playing some of their favourite sports and games. All activities are suitable for both girls and boys of all athletic abilities.
Good to Know: For ages 4-12. Age groups and friends will be kept together. The program continues rain, hail or shine, with a large indoor area used during the day in case of bad weather. Children should wear suitable clothes for running around, as well as bring morning tea, lunch, a drink bottle, and a hat for outside play.

Sydney Speaking School, North Sydney
Imagine a fun school holiday course that will not only assist children at school, but set them up with skills for life and increase their confidence. Sydney Speaking School uses their team’s combined skills and years of experience to create fun and engaging courses in Public Speaking, Debating and Presentation Skills. Good to Know: The courses on offer are for children ages 6-15. Classes are kept small to ensure lots of practice in a welcoming atmosphere, and are taught by an experienced coach. Whilst classes normally run between 9am to 3pm, parents are able to leave their children at the venue until 5pm for a small fee.
Cost: The 2-day courses range from $200-$240. The 3-day courses are between $260-$300 (early bird specials are available).

In our Superpower Camp we explore what makes each child super. In our Resilience Bootcamps we give children strategies and tools for handling tricky stuff. In our Chill-out Camp we give children strategies and tools for staying cool and calm and in our Confidence Camp we help build children’s self-worth by creating a garden of greatness!
Good to Know: It doesn’t matter if you have previously attended one of our camps as we will be exploring new and fresh content. Northbridge – 15-17th of April (Already sold out) Our Northbridge Camp is based at the local sailing club and is made up of a number of teamwork challenges and water games – plus a sailing trip across to a nearby beach. Greenwich Adventure Camp – April 2019 23rd-24th Greenwich is our newest Adventure Camp, and we’re excited to have a new home these holidays – at the Greenwich Sailing Club! We’ll be using this as a base to explore Cockatoo Island and take a trip to the Greenwich Baths for some fun in the water. Please note this a 2x day camp. Balmoral Adventure Camp – April 2019 23rd-24th (formerly Chowder Bay) Balmoral Sea Scouts Hall is the new home for Adventure Camp these holidays. Based here, we’ll be exploring the local bushland, playing plenty of games in the park and enjoying the water with some water-sports too. Please note, this is a 2x day camp. Good to Know: Adventure Camp is for boys and girls in primary school, aged 7-12. The day is generally broken up into four separate periods of activity – and plenty of rest is provided for lunch, morning & afternoon tea and drinks. Each Adventure Camp is run by highly experienced staff and instructors who work with children on a daily basis. All staff hold current First Aid certificates, and have completed a ‘Working with Children’ check. There is also an Adventure Camp Rewards & Referral Program! - Paleontology Lab – Science Workshop: Frozen dinosaur chamber: This is literally one of the coolest workshops around. Children become paleontologists, digging for their dinosaurs. Kids will explore differences between herbivores and carnivores, and we will discuss what may have led to the dinosaur’s demise. The children will construct dinosaur skeletons and will also decorate some dinosaur fossils. All the kids get to keep what they make. It will be an amazing day!
- Zumba Workshop: This program is for 5 to 10-year-olds to let loose and be themselves – little bundles of natural energy that are endlessly curious about new sounds and experiences!

TRYTIME School holiday rugby camps are for rugby players of all levels who want to improve their skills in a safe and inclusive environment. We already have lots of girls and boys booked in ready to have fun and learn lots from our amazing coaches as well as from guest Waratah players.
Good to Know: Players of all levels are encouraged to attend. Specialist coaches will work with all players to further enhance their skills whether they are new to the game or have played for a number of years. We place a large emphasis on safety, including coaching the correct body position in scrums, how to tackle effectively, and to be aware of body position to decrease the chance of injury and increase enjoyment and success. We thrive on assisting young players by encouraging them to be the best they can be, both on and off the field. We promote hard work, commitment, dedication and respect to ensure players have good habits even when no one is watching! The Wizard of Oz, NORTHS Cammeray
Somewhere over the Rainbow and just in time for the School Holidays, NORTHS Cammeray is hosting this fun production of the all-time favourite The Wizard of Oz.
“Led by professional players, our troupe of young performers – most of them under 18! – bring a special kind of magic to one of the world’s best loved musical fantasy films. As the stage lights up with a mix of ballet, pop music and traditional shout-out-loud participation as young audiences follow the yellow brick road to the good fairy and wicked witch of the west, the shiny red ruby slippers and wonderful Wizard of Oz. Surrender to the energy – and don’t expect your kids to stay seated for long!”
Good to Know: Doors open at 10.30 for an 11am show. Seating is unreserved. If you live within 5kms of the Club you will need to be a member or be signed in by a member. Membership is $10 for a year and comes with lots of great discounts. Lunch is available after the show at The Pantry – NORTHS’ great dining venue.
