Brewmance has a reputation for its excellent coffee and personalised latte art, but this Crows Nest cafe is now offering an array of divine tapas dishes for dinner.

Locals will be familiar with Brewmance owners and best friends, Hoky and Davide, who have worked together for almost ten years. The Indonesian and Italian duo opened the popular cafe in Crows Nest serving innovative breakfast and lunch creations, such as a truffle ham cheese croissant, Pina Colada granola bowl, chicken donburi, and cacio e pepe toastie.

“We chose Crows Nest because we were quite familiar with the area, since we owned a cafe in Neutral Bay for five years before Brewmance,” Davide explains. “We are incredibly happy with how things are going and the amazing welcome we received from the community.”

Coffee is perhaps Brewmance’s biggest drawcard and they invest time in personalising each cup with fun images or names to show customers how much they care.

“If I had to pick a favourite design, it would be the bunny Ping (the barista) does over Easter,” Davide reflects. “However, what really makes us proud is the fact that we know our customers so well that we often tailor something relative to the specific person we are serving coffee to.”

Customers old and new alike will be thrilled to hear that Brewmance recently launched an Asian tapas dinner menu from Thursday to Saturday nights. Share plates include Korean fried chicken, a crispy Thai noodle salad, and authentic Malaysian style bao buns filled with crispy sticky tofu, panko prawn or 12-hour slow cooked pork belly that melts in your mouth.

There’s also Chinese Spice Spare Ribs, Szechuan Salt and Pepper Calamari, Grilled Scallops, Tempura Prawns and a whole side menu of Brewmance Fried Chicken – including the intriguing ‘Chick Jagger’, ‘My Girlfriend’s Not Hungry’ and the ‘Go Hard or Go Home’ options.

For dessert, there’s a Yamazaki whisky latte panna cotta or Nonna Crespi’s chocolate cake, along with beer on tap, wines and quirky Asian inspired cocktails to spice up the night. Davide’s favourites include the lemongrass infused Margarita; Spicy Basil Smash with gin, fresh lime basil and chilli; and Coco Loco with rum, Malibu, fresh lime and pineapple juice.

Bookings are open for dinner and we suggest heading in on a Thursday night so you can make the most of $5 bao and $14 cocktails from 5-9pm.
