At Flying Yogis, we know you would love mindfulness instilled into your kids while they stay active, fit and healthy, but all they want to do is cartwheel, be upside down and have fun! These are the foundations upon which we have created our unique Kids Yoga and Acro programs.
Each class incorporates Yoga’s mindfulness with Gymnastics and Acro’s agility and coordination. This gives children fun ways to gain all the tools needed to cope with our hectic lives: Each week we cover vital skill sets such as focus; trust; cooperation; self-esteem, awareness; resilience and fearlessness in an engaging way that leaves them feeling confident and empowered.
Our team of inspiring teachers come from various backgrounds; gym; dance; child psychology; education.. Our trainings are rigorous. We aim to create the kind of teachers that bring out your child’s personal best.
Most of all, whether you come weekly to courses; attend our holiday workshops; come to a Birthday party, have flying yogis teach at your school; or as an adult become part of our team and do our teacher training; you will have a fun and joyful experience.
JusFitness is your local personal training and outdoor group fitness specialist run by local resident, Justine. As a mum of 4 and marathoner, she fully understands the importance of regular exercise from both a physical and mental point of view.
JusFitness offers outdoor group fitness sessions for ladies, teenagers and primary school aged children in the local area. All classes are individually programmed with a good mix of cardio and strength training and cater for all fitness levels.
JusFitness also offers running group sessions, private running sessions and personalised running training programs for those training for specific events as well as private personal training sessions for all ages. When it comes to children’s fitness, it’s not about trying to turn the kids into state level athletes (although several of them have reached this level), it’s about fostering a level of confidence in kids that they never believed they had. It’s about having a go, pushing the boundaries and, most of all, instilling in them a life-long love of exercise.
