Music lovers are spoilt for choice this March, with two live music festivals coming up – Village Vibes in Crows Nest, and the popular Sunset Series in St Leonards Park.
Village Vibes is the newest addition to the North Shore events calendar and will see Ernest Place in Crows Nest transformed into a live music stage on March 9 & 10.
Kicking off at 5.30pm on Wednesday 9 March with a child-friendly set, this two-day festival features a retro disco night with Big Music, followed by an old school pop, Reggaeton, RnB and Soul extravaganza with Andro and Leroy Trio on Thursday night.
Crows Nest has become an absolute foodies paradise as well, with a host of amazing restaurants and cafes to grab dinner or delicious takeaway and make a real night out of supporting local businesses.
Next for your diary is the popular Sunset Series, which returns for a second year running after proving a bit hit last year, but this year will be hosted in St Leonards Park, North Sydney.
This two-day line-up gets underway from 4pm on Saturday 26 March with a DJ set followed by a performance of classic party pop and rock hits by Lily Road. Sunset Series culminates on Sunday 27 March with a performance by North Sydney Orchestra from 5pm to 7pm.
Along with the Twilight Fair, which is running every Friday night in Ted Mack Civic Park and has a live band each week, there’s a host of live music to keep the community entertained and out and about after last year’s restrictions.
Grab the picnic blanket, grab the friends and family and head out to enjoy and support these wonderful local free events!
