Have you ever wanted to try pottery, photography, drumming or Gyrokinesis? North Sydney Community Centre is celebrating the start of 2021 with Open Day activities for the whole family.

Family events have been a long time coming, and North Sydney Community Centre’s Open Weekend is a great sign that 2021 might be a better year for fun and trying something new ! The emphasis is on kids’ events on Friday 5th Feb and adults on Saturday 6th Feb.  

What’s Happening for Kids: Friday 5th February 2021: 

  • From 10 am-11:30 am new families are invited to join our Playgroup staff for a special Explorers Playgroup for under 5s and family. (Bookings essential).
  • From 4-7 pm* primary school-aged kids and their families can enjoy a meet and greet with our fabulous After School Care staff, be treated to a snack and join in the fun! (*Drop in anytime between these hours) 

What’s Happening for Adults: Saturday 6th February 2021: 

  • From 8 am-12:00 pm visitors can soak up the Northside Produce Market’s summer morning ambience in Ted Mack Civic Park. 
  • After a delicious breakfast in the park, come into the Centre to try something new from our Adult Classes sampler selection (bookings essential).
  • 45min Sampler classes include Pottery, Beginners Photography, Yoga/Pilates  Fusion, Creative Writing, Crafting with Bronnie, African Drumming,  Printmaking, Drawing, Ukulele, Kangatraining, Yoga, Kung Fu, Zumba, Zumba  Gold, Spanish, French, Gyrokinesis & Harmonica. 

We are excited to welcome you, both new visitors and our beloved returning community, to try something new and sample the range of great services, classes and events run by our enthusiastic and talented teachers and staff.
