The new High Ropes attraction opens on Saturday November 14, and promises to be a summer highlight for families.
A new high ropes adventure course has arrived at St Ives Showground just in time for summer fun. It was installed by TreeTops Adventure Holdings, which has a track record in high ropes installations in 13 sites across Australia.
“St Ives Showground soars to new heights! Families have a new experience explore along the southern border of Ku-ring-gai National Park. St Ives is our newest Tree Ropes Course Park, hosting 95+ aerial obstacles and 10+ ziplines, all suspended between platforms to create a maze of activities in the treetops. Courses start at 1m for little climbers and jump up to 15 metres for bigger adventurers!”
Over one kilometre of cables span the designed area and aerial activities include ziplines, wobbly wooden obstacles, tight ropes and nets – all suspended between each platform to create a maze of activities for a unique outdoor experience.
Under the agreement with TreeTop Adventure Holdings, the high ropes course was installed in a way that protects the trees in the area.
“A 2.5-hour session through the aerial challenges (including gearing up) will have you laughing along with the kookaburras. After safety, your adrenaline is our top priority, so our courses are designed to challenge you, no matter what level you’re at.”
Treetops Adventure St Ives has 8 tree ropes courses to choose from, starting at easy eye-height and leaping up to expert adventurer level.
