“I’ve been in this business for 33 years, in the same site in High St Willoughby. Me, Paul from the flower shop and Harris Farm – we’re the only originals who are still here. I’m so lucky I’ve had pretty much the same team since then. Now I also employ a lot of young people who want to become bakers. Since we renovated 3 years ago, I can’t tell you the changes. Now people can see me, talk to me, and sit down for their meals and relax. Dinner has been a big success. Fresh and new menus are important for us. I don’t like to be boring, I love change. We have another site in Northbridge, and we’re hoping we can turn it into a bakery and café like we have here so people can sit down and enjoy our food.”
