BotaniBec is a Willoughby-based botanical studio founded by Becky, specialising in handcrafted kokedama (Japanese moss ball plants) and thoughtfully designed orchid arrangements. Blending nature with artistic intention, each piece is carefully created to bring calm, understated elegance and a sense of grounding into modern homes.
Beyond botanical creations, BotaniBec also hosts intimate, hands-on workshops designed to help people slow down, pause and reconnect with themselves. In a fast-moving world, these sessions offer a gentle space to unwind, release stress and experience the quiet joy of working with living plants. No prior experience is needed, just an openness to create and be present.
BotaniBec is not simply about plants; it is about cultivating moments of care, creativity and meaningful connection within the local community.
At Poco a Poco students are encouraged to explore, experiment, and express themselves. We prioritise building strong foundations while leaving room for students to develop their own artistic flair. From classical instruments to music production and DJing, public speaking, visual arts, and drama, there is something for every kind of artistic expression.
We have over 300sqm of brand new facilities, one of the largest in the northern sydney region. This includes a dedicated drum room, art room, instrument teaching rooms, and a large performance space which can seat up to 60 people.
We pride ourselves on our ability to encourage students to think outside the box, take risks, and grow their confidence. Our team is made up of passionate educators who, beyond education, are working performers and artists in their respective fields, bringing their multifaceted expertise to the classroom.
Named after the Italian term used in music to mean little by little, Poco a Poco reflects our approach to education – after all, all great things take time, and all journeys are made step by step.
