Renovations designed around family life, not the other way around.
Renovating with kids in the house is its own sport. Noise, dust, timelines, schools, Friday pickups. We plan the build around your family, not against it.
LikeSilk is a family-run, licensed North Shore builder covering Willoughby, Naremburn, Castlecrag, Artarmon, Northbridge and Castle Cove. First-floor additions, interior renovations and bathroom renovations.
• Direct line to the licensed builder. Work with Cam from day one, not a sales rep.
• Fixed-price quotes itemised line by line. No hidden allowances.
• You never chase us. Weekly photos, live schedule and a site diary.
• Staged plans that work around school terms and family routines.
• Fully licensed (NSW Lic. 274849C), fully insured, clean-site promise every day.

Built-In Wardrobes & Custom Joinery for Sydney’s Architectural & Heritage Homes
Designed With Intelligence. Crafted With Precision.
We design, supply, and install custom built-in wardrobes and bespoke joinery for Sydney homes where architectural integrity, proportion, and finish are paramount.
Across the Lower North Shore, Inner West, and Inner South, many homes share a rich heritage character. Consequently, they require built-in wardrobes and joinery that feel intentional, refined, and enduring.
Accordingly, every built-in wardrobe and custom joinery piece we create is individually designed, purpose-built, and installed with meticulous attention to detail.
Features such as heritage detailing, generous ceiling heights, traditional proportions, and carefully considered renovations are common.
For this reason, designing built-in wardrobes and joinery for these homes requires more than standard cabinetry. Instead, it demands a clear understanding of Period features, Moulding lines, Door proportions and Panel detailing.
As a result, our built-in wardrobes and custom joinery integrate seamlessly into the home, appearing cohesive, balanced, and architecturally resolved.

Dan Kitchens Australia is a family owned business that has been designing and making Danish-inspired kitchens since 1984. We’re a team of designers, old-school cabinetmakers, painters and installers who are dedicated to our craft and to our customers.
Most of our kitchen renovations are in Sydney’s North Shore and Northern Beaches, so we’ve come to really understand the unique character of this regions homes, and the challenges that homeowners face when renovating.
Our commit to service and craftmanship is well documented by dozens of Dan Kitchens reviews, from both recent and old clients.
Our kitchen showroom, design studio and workshop are located just 30 minutes down the M2 at Seven Hills, a little out of the way but much closer than Copenhagen! You will not be disappointed.
