We are looking for a very special person as a companion carer & outing support for our Mum. 

Mum has Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinsons, and even though in care, still requires our active participation (or a private carer) each day…
She can understand most things when spoken clearly and slowly, but is non-verbal for a lot of the time. 
She can’t do a single thing for herself and needs feeding.

She enjoys engaging with people as best she can, but relies on others to make herself understood. 

Someone who is both patient, kind, careful, caring, reliable, and listens well; but who is also engaging, good company, speaks clearly, is smart and can take initiative – and who isn’t afraid to sing/dance/tell jokes/hang out with the other residents (some are great fun) but keep the focus on Mum. 

Pay slightly higher than agency carer rates- happy to discuss with right person.

Experience/study in nursing/medical/caring a bonus but will train.
