Balmoral Watersports School Holiday Activities

“Have Fun – Be Safe – Learn New Skills – Make New Friends” these school holidays!

Our “Multi-activity” water-sports camp offers different activities throughout the day, including Sailing, Windsurfing, Stand up Paddleboarding, Kayaking and games on/off water, with a major emphasis on having fun, and gaining & improving water-sports skills!

Every day is a different day with changing weather conditions, new games and new challenges. We welcome kids with water-sports skills & abilities as well as total beginners. Our aim is to introduce kids to water sports, gain more confidence on the water, and learn sailing in a fun way. We also really encourage making new friends.

Kids can start from 5yrs up to 15 yrs, they must already be able to swim 25m confidently. We have 4 different age groups: 5 to 6yo; 7 to 9yo; 10 to 12yo; and 13 to 15yo. We will also make sure they are put together with friends on the 1st day if required. Be prepared for a fabulous week of fun and learning. It’s exactly where your kids want to be, rain or shine!

Good to know: Children are to bring their own packed lunch. The program will continue in wet weather conditions. Please ensure you or your child are aware of the weather forecast for the day and have packed accordingly.

Price: $550 for 5 days Monday to Friday

Aussie Gems, April School Holiday Program

Take your child on a fun adventure at the Aussie Gems Autumn School Holiday Program 2022! The best way to enjoy and learn at the same time.

Good to Know:

– Drop off is any time from 8am to 9am at the latest. Pick up is between 3pm to 3:30pm. After 3:30pm you will be charged $1 per minute late. Please ensure you are on time.

– We provide morning tea and lunch; all you will need to bring is a drink bottle. We will be eating morning tea and lunch outside, if the weather is nice, so feel free to pack a hat and sunscreen.

– It is recommended that your child wear comfortable clothes they can move around in eg. a T-shirt, shorts, leggings etc. If your child is prone to accidents, please be sure to pack a spare pair of undies and pants.

– If your child has friends coming on the same day, they will be able to be in the same group. Please let the coaches know on the day and we can make this happen.

Inspire Tennis and Sports Camp, Killara & Roseville (Ages 3-15yo)

Inspire Tennis’ School Holiday Programs are fun, exciting and provide a learning pathway for every child. School holiday camps are held in a variety of convenient tennis club locations on the North Shore. It’s a brilliant way for kids to spend over 20 hours each week, improving their tennis skills. VT1 Kids Action Movie Camp! Chatswood

Treat your child to an unforgettable experience this school holiday! Our camps combine martial arts, self defence skills and acrobatic skills – just like you see in the superhero movies, to make the ultimate confidence building experience. Learn from one of the best stunt actors – Master Chong Wei. He has featured in several Marvel films including Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings!

No experience is necessary! Over the week they will make new friends, learn new self defence skills and feature in their own movie! Drop your kids off under the supervision of world champion coaches and watch them transform. (While you enjoy a break).

Pool Inflatable Fun, Willoughby Leisure Centre

We’ll be putting up our pool inflatable these April School Holidays. Bring the kids down for a splash in the indoor pool for a fun filled day.

Please note:

  • The inflatable is for ages 5 – 12 years only

Intensive Swim Holiday Program, Willoughby Leisure Centre

Held for 30 mins every day from Monday to Thursday, Holiday Intensive Classes are an excellent way to improve your child’s swimming abilities. Classes focus on water confidence and swimming technique. These programs often assist children who are new to a level and for those who need to refine technique in order to progress.

Good to Know: All children are assessed at the end of the program. A feedback report and certificate of completion will be issued.

Willoughby Leisure Centre’s school holiday program is back! The program is fully supervised and packed with fun activities including Skateboarding, Mad About Science, Laser Warriors challenge and of course water fun. We also have a range of activities aimed at engaging kids to bring out their creative side, like Make My Bear soft toy workshop and Bricks 4 Kidz days.

Sand Sculpture, The Mix Chatswood Place

Visit The Mix at Chatswood Place these school holidays to see 5 tonnes of sand be transformed into a beautiful Sand Sculpture! Sea creatures will start to emerge from the sand with sculptors on site from Saturday 9 April until Tuesday 12 April from 9am to 5pm daily.

The completed sand sculpture will be on display until Sunday 8 May 2022. Find it on Plaza Level.

Jurassic World dinosaurs have descended on the harbour city. This school holiday, the Australian Museum’s home of bones will be transformed into a six-day palaeontology party that will send you back 200 million years to the Age of Dinosaurs. The roaring free program features live experiments, performances, interactive activities, a closing night Dino Rave and more. While you’re there, check out their blockbuster Jurassic World exhibition; an adventure of 6 million LEGO bricks in the making.

St Ives Treetops Adventure + Playground

Families have a new experience to explore along the southern border of Ku-ring-gai National Park. St Ives is our newest Tree Ropes Course Park, hosting 95+ aerial obstacles and 10+ ziplines, all suspended between platforms to create a maze of activities in the treetops. Courses start at 1m for little climbers and jump up to 15 metres for bigger adventurers!

Sessions run for 2.5-hours to climb as many courses as you can during your session. You can choose to start on low easy courses or go straight up on a higher course. If you don’t feel like climbing up on a higher level, you are always welcome to complete a lower or same course again during your session. Your session includes harnessing, training and approx 2-hours of climbing.

When you’re done there’s a spectacular new playground to explore as well!

School Holidays Bushland Adventure, Chatswood

Looking for young aspiring nature photographers and film makers!

Bring your imagination and love of nature to take photos and make a funny short film. We’ll be exploring and documenting the Blue Gum High Forest, using iPads to shoot some footage and take photos of any plants and wildlife we may encounter. Kids will be able to view their edited show later in the holidays.

Good to know: Wear closed shoes, a hat and bring water and snack. *One ticket per child. Parents and carers are welcome to join.
