Sunset Series concerts

Gather your friends and head to one of North Sydney’s most picturesque spots for Sunset Series – a completely free, two-night extravaganza of outdoor live music in Waverton Park.

Taking place in the early evenings from 4pm to 7pm on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October, Sunset Series is the perfect way to make the most of the longer days and warmer Spring nights with live music and great food.

Concerts begin from 4pm with the DJ set, then the headline act takes the stage from 5pm to 7pm.

The Spicy Margaritas headline on the Saturday night with a fun mix of top hits from across the decades, as well as funk, soul, and party beats.

ABBALANCHE the Australian ABBA Tribute Show will take the stage on Sunday evening and will get the crowd dancing with live renditions of all the brilliant ABBA hits.

Mayor Zoe Baker said: “Sunset Series is an opportunity for the community to come together in one of our picturesque parks and enjoy a weekend of live music with family and friends.

“These music concerts are free to attend, and people can bring their own picnics to enjoy under the setting sun with a backdrop of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

“A park picnic with family and friends and fantastic live performances is a great way to  welcome in Spring and the longer, warmer days.”

Food will be available to purchase on the night, including Turkish gozleme, chips on a stick, Argentinian BBQ, gelato, ice cream and hot and cold beverages. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own picnics.
