Exciting community events have been a long time coming through isolation, but if all goes well the wonderful Bastille Markets return to the grounds of Club Willoughby in September!
If you’re a Francophile, a foodie, a market-lover, or just want to get out and peruse some beautiful Parisienne produce, the Bastille Markets are scheduled for September on the grounds of Club Willoughby.
The popular market will feature over 50 pop-up shops, with French cuisine and unique artisans. There will also be live music and activities for children too.
This year, patrons can also enjoy a glass of French wine or Champagne while strolling around the stalls! “We are excited to launch a Wine bar at the market! Champagne, french wine and french cider!” says Solveig, the Market Curator.
The French food stalls are always very popular as well. And mid-winter, everyone will be lining up for Raclettes! “’It’s perfect weather to indulge in raclette cheese melted on potatoes, charcuterie and cornichons!” says Solveig.
