If you love checking out local beautiful homes or you happen to be in the market for one – schedule a stickybeak at an upcoming open for 15 Bedford Street, and prepare to be wowed!

If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a home that mixes class, comfort and the charm of a quiet neighbourhood, then you’ll want to check out this new kid on the market. Located on the high side of a prized Willoughby street, 15 Bedford Street really has it all – and it’s going up for auction on December 2.

The newly built five-bedroom and five-bathroom luxury family home is incredibly well thought out, and stunningly executed. It was a collaboration between Jonathan Rintoul director of ULIV, designer Adam Perry, and established North Shore builder Grant Buckham from Kingdom Corp

Jonathan explains, “Our business is called ULIV, which stands for ‘Unique, Lifestyle, Integrity and Value’. 15 Bedford is each of these.”

Many in the area have likely already admired the home’s exterior, which is the future of designer home builds.

“Grant was influential in the design of the facades and the main building materials,”  says Jonathan. “His skill is in creating great street appeal without creating a construction nightmare.  We’re really excited about the Modinex Beachclad timber cladding which will patina to a soft silver over the next 12 months or so. Not only does it look great, but is also low maintenance, grown sustainably and has superior thermal qualities.”

Step inside the stylish abode and you’ll be greeted by a flexible and spacious floor plan, bathed in natural light. The living and dining space features a soaring double-height ceiling and leads to a gourmet kitchen, complete with a butler’s pantry, 60mm marble bench tops and waterfalls.

Upstairs you’ll find four spacious bedrooms all with designer rain-shower ensuites!

Jonathan says, “I’m passionate about floor plans which work for every occasion. When designing this house, we thought about how a family with young children, teenagers, adult children or grandchildren would live in the house. We also wanted to make sure it was suitable for people working from home.”

The house is an entertainer’s dream, with spaces for both adults and kids to gather and celebrate, including a covered alfresco entertaining and barbecue area. Parents also have a clear line of sight from the kitchen to the sparkling pool.

“If you ask me about my favourite feature just after my kids arrive home from school, it’s the mud room and dedicated space for school bags,” Jonathan says. “On a quiet weekend, it’s the skylight above the bath. If we have friends over, it is the cavity slider between the upper living and the corridor to the master suite. On a busy weekend, it is the low maintenance garden and proximity to High Street shops.”

Whether you’re a renovator, real estate aficionado, a curious local, or lucky enough to be in the market for a home like this, it’s worth heading to 15 Bedford Street for a stickybeak. The house goes up for auction on Saturday, December 2 at 10am, with open inspections every Wednesday and Saturday in November from 11-11.30am.

Rick Woodward and Inigo Castro at The Agency have the listing, and they’re looking forward to showing you through. There’s an open today, Wednesday 8th November at 5pm.
