Always a popular event with locals and beyond, the 7th annual Willoughby Beer Fair takes place on Saturday 2 November at the Willoughby Hotel. As well as showcasing great beers, this street fair also boasts great food and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

“It is a pleasure hosting this event for the local and wider community. We are ready to go with a fresh lineup of breweries,” says Lisa Bartlett, licensee. Whether you prefer a Lager, Pale Ale, Stout or Cider, there will be something for everyone’s taste.

Participating breweries this year include Australian Brewery, Goose Island, 4 Pines, Yak Brewing, Pirate Life, Hoegaarden, Stella Artois, Batch Brewing Co and VB/Reschs Heritage. If beer isn’t your drink then not to worry! Treasury Wines, Strongbow Rose and Lexington Hill Espresso Martini’s will be joining the Fair this year, to provide merrymakers with a host of alternatives on the day.

This year Mac n G’s Kebabs (Crows Nest) are joining the food options, and will be providing an Australian twist on
a late night classic.

Live entertainment will kick off from 11am on the main stage with two entertainment acts this year including a community favourite – local musician Michael Jackson and his band.

And it won’t be just the adults that get to have all the fun. Kids can enjoy a petting zoo, face painting and an arts and crafts potting station.

So if you’re looking to enjoy a few beverages with friends or family this Saturday, head down to MacMahon Street North Willoughby from 11am to check out all the action.
