The popular Mosman business has opened a new school in North Sydney and is ready to welcome kids from K-12 for individualised Maths and English tuition.
NumberWorks’nWords was founded in 1984 by passionate educators who wanted to make a difference in the lives of children through education. With more than 38 years experience teaching English and maths to children, NumberWorks’nWords is one of the world’s longest running tuition providers with 69 tuition centres world-wide. Their mission is to improve school results and build confidence in children, to help them succeed with their schooling and beyond.
They offer free English and maths assessments which identify gaps and weaknesses. With this information, in conjunction with the parents and child, the team will develop a personalised learning programme to meet your child’s learning needs.
The in-centre English tuition and maths tuition is customised to each child, so whether they are learning to read and write or learning basic numeracy, preparing for English and maths exams, or looking for extension work that challenges them, tutoring at NumberWorks’nWords can help. Their tuition model caters for 11 levels of the school curriculum, and collectively their centres deliver more than 120,000 English and maths tutoring lessons every term.
North Sydney franchise owner, Eimear Hughes, has extensive experience as a teacher and senior manager of a large Primary School in Ireland for over 13 years. After coming to Australia in 2007 she capitalised on that and has gained even more tuition experience since acquiring NumberWorks’nWords Mosman in 2009.
Now opening her second centre, she and her hand picked and well trained staff look forward to welcoming you to NumberWorks’nWords North Sydney.
“After many years of success at the Spit Junction, we are thrilled to be expanding to another convenient North Shore location. Due to popular demand, it felt right to grow and bring along some of the Mosman team too,” said Eimear.
