Get set for winter wonderlands and super cool activities these school holidays, with bush adventures, s’mores cooking, kids’ shows, billy-kart making, pottery, ice skating and so much more. Some activities are free and will need to be booked fast!
School Holiday Bushland Adventures, Lane Cove
These winter school holidays kids can experience ‘Survivor – The Bushwalk!’ Get out into the urban wilderness that runs along the Lane Cove River. Join together and practice outdoor survival skills. Kids will need a snack and a drink, hats and suitable clothing for the weather and bushwalking. This event is run by Willoughby Council.

Inspire Tennis’ School Holiday Programs are fun, exciting and provide a learning pathway for every child. Do a little outdoor cooking in the winter school holidays around the campfires at The Greens! Step 1 -Melt the marshmallow to your liking over the fire Step 2 – Make a sandwich using the biscuits on the outside and the chocolate on the inside Step 3 – Place the warm, gooey marshmallow in between, and watch it all melt together ready for you to eat!

Plastic Free July Trivia For Kids
Bookings are essential for everyone attending the event, including children and adults. Spaces are limited so priority will be given to local residents if the event becomes fully booked.

Willoughby Leisure Centre School Holiday Program, Willoughby
Willoughby Leisure Centre’s school holiday program is back! The program is fully supervised and packed with fun activities including Skateboarding, Billy Cart Bonanza, Laser Warriors challenge and of course water fun. There’s also a range of activities aimed at engaging kids to bring out their creative side, like Build My Bear soft toy workshop and Bricks for Kids days.
Duration: Program runs daily between Monday 28th June and Friday 9th July, excluding weekends.
Age: Designed for kids aged 5 to 12 years.
Time: 9am-3pm. Drop-off available from 8am.
Aftercare: Most days until 6pm. Extra charges apply.

Intensive Swim Holiday Program, Willoughby Leisure Centre
Held for 30 mins every day from Monday to Friday, Holiday Intensive Classes are an excellent way to improve your child’s swimming abilities. Classes focus on water confidence and swimming technique. These programs often assist children who are new to a level and for those who need to refine technique in order to progress.
Good to Know: All children are assessed at the end of the program. A feedback report and certificate of completion will be issued.

Winter School Holidays at the Wildflower Garden, St Ives
Join us at the Wildflower Garden during the School Holidays for a variety of nature based activities for kids of all ages. We offer a full day program for primary aged children with a focus on fun and adventure, as well as our morning Nature Play sessions for children 0-5 and 4-6 years.
This winter we’ll learn Aboriginal Bush Skills, explore Off The Beaten Track, cook over a campfire, learn all about Animalia, try our hand at Bushcraft and Camping, create Nature Art and become Nature Detectives!

Winter in the Domain
The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney and Doman presents ‘’Winter in the Domain”, a festival experience showcasing music, culture and entertainment in the heart of Sydney that’s on during the winter school holidays.
From June 25 to July 18, The Domain will transform into a winterland featuring two unique spaces – Big Top and Winterpark.
The Big Top will host a diverse range of live performances from some of the Australia’s best artists and include family-friendly concerts.
From June 26, the area surrounding the Big Top will be transformed into a free Winterpark with activities for visitors of all ages and heated outdoor spots to enjoy. Everyone is welcome to the Winterpark where you can glide along the ice rink, jump on the family-friendly rides and taste a range of delicious food and drinks these winter holidays.
