Greenwood Snow Festival

Greenwood is super excited to announce – SNOW FESTIVAL, a brand-new take on the iconic Snow Week held at Greenwood every year. This year there is a little something for everyone, with Drag Bingo, Mario Kart Tournaments, Canada Day and Disco in the Snow, and a free dance event with an epic line up! With 50 TONNES OF REAL SNOW forecast to hit the venue, you’ll be needing all the mulled wine you can get. You can even escape the cold in an exclusive igloo, with delicious winter menu items from Greenwood Hotel. See you from the 29th of June for a week to remember, and a grand welcome of snow cannons cascading snow over you, with merch giveaways and major prizes up for grabs! Mosman WinterFeast Night Market

Mosman’s annual WinterFeast Night Market is back on Thursday 20 June from 4.30pm-9pm at Mosman Square and Village Green.

Stroll through the market stalls while enjoying gourmet food and beverages, live entertainment and fun for all the family.

Pop on your Winter woollies and wander under the magical fairy lights of Mosman Square this Winter!

Luna Park In The Dark 

Luna Park is offering a special event called Luna Park in the Dark for three weekends in May and June. During this time, the park will be lit up with a special atmosphere.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Unlimited rides on your favourite roller coasters and other attractions.
  • Access to Sonic Neon, a new immersive light and sound experience.
  • Special treats from the Blacklight Dessert Bar that glow in the dark!
  • Candlelit Concert Series performances in the Big Top.
  • Appearances by fun carnival characters throughout the park.

S’mores at The Greens, North Sydney

winter events - s'moresDo a little campsite cooking in the School Holidays around the campfires at The Greens! Step 1 -Melt the marshmallow to your liking over the fire. Step 2 – Make a sandwich using the biscuits on the outside and the chocolate on the inside. Step 3 – Place the warm, gooey marshmallow in between, and watch it all melt together ready for you to eat.

Bastille Festival, Circular Quay

In July, from Thursday 11 July to Sunday 14 July 2024, the much-loved Bastille Festival returns to Circular Quay in Sydney!

For those who may not be familiar with the event, Bastille Festival Sydney is a free-entry, French cultural celebration of food, wine, and art, held annually at Circular Quay. Expect a great selection of food, amazing french wines and lots of entertainment with live concerts, DJs, dance classes and good vibes.

For the 2024 Festival, the team are bringing back all your French favourites, including:

  • The Chef Village in First Fleet park (next to the MCA), serving as the Festival’s main entertainment stage. With a curated selection of favourite restaurants that will once again deliver their specialty dishes, infused with a unique French fusion twist.
  • The Wine Passport: Embark on a journey through France’s most renowned wine regions, with your French wine passport being stamped in each region, from Bordeaux to Provence and from Loire to Burgundy.
  • Le Mulled Wine Cinema – Where you can watch a great french movie on a deck chair while sipping on some mulled wine.

Raclette Igloo Experience

While we’re on the subject of wine and cheese, don’t miss the Raclette Igloo experience!

Gather your friends for a cheesy and delicious experience in a gorgeous igloo this Winter. Here’s what you can expect:

Cherry Blossom Festival, Auburn

Head west in August to see one of Australia’s most photographed events at the Auburn Botanic Gardens. The Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival brings a slice of Japan to western Sydney across nine days when pink blossom trees are in full bloom. The stunning experience is located in the Cherry Trail within the traditional Japanese Garden.

But its not just about the trees, there will celebrations of Japanese culture with an exciting program of activities, workshops and performances. It wouldn’t be complete without an array of delicious Japanese food on offer at the Japanese Food Village.

Bondi Festival

Set on the iconic shores of Bondi Beach, the Bondi Festival is an arts festival that takes place across a number of different venues over 17 days and nights.

There’s an ice rink on Campbell Parade, a ferris wheel on Queen Elizabeth Drive, and events at the Bondi Pavilion.

Performances include live shows from artists and comedians, theatre and cabaret shows, art exhibitions and interactive experiences.

There are some ticketed and some free events, but its recommended to buy tickets in advance.

Monster Jump, Moore Park

The Monster Jump is an inflatable obstacle course suitable for everyone, including adults! Children under 4 need to be accompanied by an adult.

You can slide, climb, bounce your way through more than 30 obstacles in the giant structure which is a colourful air filled adventure set up in the Moore Park Entertainment Quarter.

You just need to bring socks (or you can also purchase at the gate) for those taking part and a picnic rug for those observing, then sit back and enjoy the fun! Bookings recommended, and you’ll need to arrive 30 minutes before your session.
