High Street is now home to Zeus Street Greek – a fast/casual Greek restaurant in The Iceworks complex.
Named after the Greek god, ZSG offers traditional Greek street food with a modern twist, including pita wraps, Spartan bowls, Yia Yia’s famous chips and loukoumades donuts. The food is simple, fresh, flavoursome and all made in house using the founders’ Greek family recipes
“Zeus Street Greek now has over 20 stores nationally with Willoughby being our very exciting new opening!” says Ramon Castillo, ZSG’s’ COO. “(We’ve) been creating, sharing and redefining Greek street food for Australian appetites since 2014.”
Like ZSGs’ other suburban homes, the High Street location’s customisable menu is perfect for date night, a mid-week family feast, a quick post-workout meal and everything in between.
“Willoughby is a great family centric area which aligns well with our Greek family mindset on how important family is and our “food for all the family” vibe, says Ramon. “We serve food that’s as good for your body as it is for your taste buds, so you know everyone at the table is walking away satisfied and nourished.”
Classic pita wraps include the Tzimmy, Hades, Zeus and Hermes, featuring high-quality hero proteins of chicken, pork and lamb from the souvla cooked traditionally on long skewers over hot charcoal; wrapped in fluffy pita bread with salad, sauce and seasoning. They even have plant based protein for veggo and vegan customers! Pair with their famous Yia Yia’s chips for a real treat.
There’s also a full range of salads and’ ‘Build your own Spartan Box’ where customers select a protein, 2 sides and a dip. Kids are catered for too with mini pita and snack packs, plus an indulgent range of Greek desserts, including loukoumades (Greek donut balls) topped with honey, Nutella, baklava, salted caramel or maple syrup and walnuts (vegan).
You can also download Zeus Street Greek’s app where you can order ahead, access special offers, and earn points on every purchase to redeem on food.
“Our Willoughby team will also be reaching out to local clubs and organisations to see how we can keep our local friends well fed and supported by ZSG Willoughby,” says Ramon. “We encourage locals to chat to us about what we can do for the community via email@example.com.”
